The LARA-R6 Series from u-blox are Single/Multi-Mode LTE Cat 1 Modules that support global LTE-TDD/LTE-FDD, UMTS/HSPA and GSM/GPRS bands. They provide universal connectivity and reliable performance in small form factor. These modules deliver an uplink data rate of 5 Mbps and a downlink data rate of 10 Mbps. They support VoLTE/CFSB (3G/2G fallback), SMS & GNSS positioning and have a root of trust, secure boot, secure updates, and secure communications ((D)TLS) functionality for security. They require a DC supply of 3.8 V and can be controlled via UART, USB 2.0, I2C, I2S, GPIO and (U)SIM interfaces.

The LARA-R6 series modules are available in 100-pin LGA packages that measure 24 x 26 x 2.6 mm and are ideal for asset tracking, telematics, remote monitoring, alarm panels, video surveillance, connected health, and point-of-sale terminal applications.
