The RTT21064 from Raltron is a Real-Time Clock Oscillator Module that is designed to provide digital timing capabilities. It consists of a 32.768 kHz TCXO, real-time clock (RTC) core, alarm register, interrupt, I2C bus interface, clock output, and power management circuit. The module supports calendar (year, month, day, hour, minute, second), clock and other timing-related functions and also includes leap years autocorrection. It is designed for utility metering, servers, automotive, factory automation and renewable energy applications.

The RTT21064 has an operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C which ensures constant power consumption at higher temperatures. It requires a DC supply from 1.6 to 5.5 V and consumes 1.0 µA of current. This clock module uses I2C control interface to communicate and control the timing of other circuitries in the module. It is available in a surface-mount package that measures 3.2 x 2.5 x 1.0 mm and is ideal for small-size electronic devices and portable applications.
