The HFM® (High-Speed FAKRA-Mini) from Rosenberger are “Mini-Coax” FAKRA Connectors that operate up to 20 GHz. These intelligent modular connectors enable the transmission of high data rates up to 28 Gbps. They have an innovative design that addresses the growing requirements for cost savings as well as reduced weight and size. The connectors have a unique ‘Connector Position Assurance (CPA) feature that prevents the mated connectors from accidental unmating, making it suitable for use in safety applications like driver assistance and autonomous driving systems. They are compliant to all common automotive standards.

The HFM® connectors deliver space savings of up to 80 % compared to conventional FAKRA connectors and allow various modules to be accommodated in the smallest possible footprint. These connectors are ideal for use in applications such as autonomous driving, driver assistance systems, navigation, infotainment, read seat entertainment, internet and WiGig.
