The Anti Drone System from Zen Technologies is a Counter Unmanned Aerial System (CUAS) which integrates a multi-layer multi-sensor architecture to provide comprehensive security against drone attacks. It has an RF Based Drone Detector (RFDD), Video-based Drone Identification & Tracking (VDIT), radar, Data Fusion and Command Center (DFCC), Drone RF Jammer (DRFJ), and hard kill capabilities. RFDD detects the drone using RF communication between the drone and the ground control center and estimates the direction of the drone and its GCC using an array of receive antennas. The VDIT is capable of capturing images/videos and tracking drones up to a range of 3 km. This CUAS has an X-band 3D RADAR to detect autonomous drones, providing precise data about the target coordinates.
The Anti Drone System has a DFCC, which receives data from RFDD, VDIT & radar and uses detection & classification algorithms based on RF data as well as visual data to display the threat situation on the integrated screen. It has an RF Jammer that can disable drones by simultaneously jamming ISM bands, GNSS signals, mobile signals, and any other intercepted frequencies. The jamming waveforms are generated and radiated using the directional antennas. This CUAS also has kinetics-based kill and net-based drone catchers as hard kill options. The kinetic-based kill uses a gun that can auto-align with the target and fire bullets against the target to destroy the same physically, and the net-based drone catcher option uses a dedicated drone with a hanging net to capture the drone and land it in a safe place.
