The RTL-4 SERIES from Radar Technology are Logarithmic Hybrid Amplifiers with centre frequencies from 10 to 160 MHz. They have a dynamic range of 80 dB, linearity of ±1 dB, and a sensitivity of 25 mV/dB. These amplifiers have a rise time of less than 0.5 µs and provide a detected video output voltage logarithmically proportional to the input IF power. They have a source impedance of 50 ohms and a video load impedance of 93 ohms. The hybrid amplifiers require a DC supply of 15 V and include built-in voltage regulation. They are available in modules that measure 3.53 x 1.50 x 0.46 inches with SMA connectors and are designed for use in electronic warfare and radar receiving systems.
