The 480846 from Extech is an EMF Strength Meter that monitors high frequency radiation from 10 MHz to 8 GHz. This meter has a non-directional measurement with a 3-channel (triaxial) measurement probe, Max Hold and Average functions, and manual store/recall of up to 99 data sets. It also has an audible alarm with a user-selectable threshold. This EMF strength meter is ideal for locating RF hotspots, wireless network (Wi-Fi) RF detection, RF "Electrosmog" detection, microwave leakage detection , and other wireless communication applications (CW, TDMA, GSM, DECT). The meter measures 67 x 60 x 247 mm, weighs 250 g and is available with a 9V battery & carrying case.
