The ELT-400 from Narda Safety Test Solutions is an EMF test system for measuring magnetic fields in the workplace and public spaces. The system covers a wide frequency range from 1 Hz to 400 kHz, enabling it to hand almost any level measurement in the low and medium frequency range. This tester has an external isotropic magnetic field probe with a 100 cm2 cross-sectional area. It is available with different operating mode combinations, e.g., “Exposure STD” or “Field Strength". It eliminates the overestimation that can occur with FFT-based evaluation and automatically evaluates exposure for various waveforms.
The tester is available in a rugged housing that measures 180 x 100 x 55 mm and is easy to operate using only six buttons. The instrument settings and measurement results are displayed on a backlit LCD display. It is ideal for office equipment, new automobiles with electric drives, production equipment and electrical installations that generate strong magnetic fields. An optional probe extension cable is especially designed for low influence on the frequency response and sensitivity of the instrument.
