The N9038B from Keysight is a is an EMI Test Receiver that operates from 3 Hz to 44 GHz. It is a standards-compliant diagnostic signal analyzer built on an upgradeable platform and is standard-compliant to CISPR 16-1-1:2019, MIL-STD-461G, ANSI C63.2, and FCC. This receiver reduces overall test time with time domain scanning enabled by fast Fourier transform (FFT) scans. It provides enhanced diagnostics using spectrum and real-time analysis, strip charts, markers, and spectrograms. The instrument maximizes insights by viewing signal activity in the time domain, frequency domain, and spectrogram view. It has an analysis bandwidth of up to 160 MHz and a phase noise of -114 dBc/Hz @ 10 kHz offset, 1 GHz frequency.

The N9038B is powered by Keysight's PathWave X-Series software. It includes a 1280 x 800 px capacitive multi-touch screen and the Keysight X-Series signal analyzer menu structure optimized for touch user interface (UI). This receiver allows the evaluation of emissions and identifies suspect signals through the front panel or remotely via software. It is available in an enclosure that measures 177 x 426 x 556 mm and has N-type (female) RF connectors.
