The ER9000 from Narda Safety Test Solutions is an EMI Receiver that operates from 10 Hz to 3 GHz. It is designed for conducted and radiated EMC measurements and is compliant with industry standards such as CISPR 16-1-1, MIL-STD-461, ANSI C63.2, and FCC. This receiver combines the functionalities of an EMI test receiver and a spectrum analyzer. It supports direct analog to digital conversion up to 30 MHz ensuring reliable measurements, while the gapless FFT operation and fast measuring time provide efficient testing processes. The receiver can handle a maximum input level of 140 dBµV (2 W) without damage which ensures reliable performance even in challenging environments.
This EMI receiver includes a front end with an efficient preselector and two-stage preamplifier for lower noise or lower saturation and excellent performance. It has an internal CW generator that facilitates self-calibration routines and RF signal generation along with a CISPR pulse generator perfect for assessing receiver performance in accordance with CISPR standards. This receiver includes a user port that enables seamless integration with external LISNs and ancillaries for enhanced testing capabilities.
The ER9000 has a built-in battery and touch-screen color display, making it even easier and faster to use this portable receiver for debugging and certification tests. It includes the PES PMM Emission Suite Software that features a smart detector function and a range of user-friendly functions and spectrogram for comprehensive EMI applications, test measurement, and equipment-under-test (EUT) debugging. This receiver has Ethernet as well as a fiber optic port to ensure effective communication. It is available in an enclosure that measures 235 x 105 x 300 mm.
