The LT-2672-02 from EM Research is a Fixed Frequency Synthesizer that generates an output signal of 2672.5 MHz using an external 100 MHz reference. The signal has an output power of 15 dBm and phase noise of less than -120 dBc/Hz at 100 kHz offset. The synthesizer has spurious levels less than -65 dBc and harmonics lower than -20 dBc. It requires a DC supply voltage of 5 V and consumes 225 mA of current.
The LT-2672-02 is available in a module with extreme shock and vibration tolerance that measures 1.3 x 1.1 x 0.4 inches and has removable SMA connectors (can be used as a surface mount device). It is ideal as the LO for up/down converters, S-Band local oscillator, and as an LO for sub-harmonic mixers.
