The YIG Frequency Synthesizer from teledyne microwave operates from 6 to 13 GHz. The synthesizer can generate a signal with a power level of more than 11 dBm, which has harmonics of -20 dBc and spurious suppression of -60 dBc. The frequency synthesizer has low phase noise of less than -125 dHc/Hz @ 100 KHz and has a channel step size of 1 MHz. It is available in a module with USB interface for control. The synthesizer can be directly plugged into laptop or desktop.
