The SFS14000H-LF from Z-Communications is a Fixed Frequency Synthesizer that generates an output signal of 14 GHz using an external 100 MHz reference. The generated signal has an output power of more than -6 dBm with spurious suppression of -65 dBc, 2nd harmonic suppression of -20 dBc, and phase noise of -96 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset. The VCO requires a voltage supply of 5 V (drawing 85mA of current) and the phase-locked loop requires a voltage of 3.3 V (drawing 40mA of current). The synthesizer is available as a surface-mount module that measures 1 x 1 inches and is suitable for SATCOM and microwave radio applications.
