The 8TR8201 from OctoTech is a compact, multi-function Front-End module for 802.15.4 ZigBee™/ Thread, Bluetooth, and 2.4 GHz ISM applications. It consists of an integrated power amplifier, low noise amplifier, SPDT Tx/Rx switch and an SPDT antenna switch. The FEM is available in a 3 x 3 mm QFN package with integrated filter networks and matching circuitry.
On the Tx side it delivers up to 21 dBm of saturated output power and on the Rx side it has a high gain with a noise figure of less than 2.6 dB. This FEM requires a 1.8 to 3.6 V supply which makes it ideal for battery-powered wireless systems.
