The QPF4202 from Qorvo is a Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) Front End Module that operates from 2412 to 2484 MHz. It consists of a 2.4 GHz power amplifier (PA), single pole two throw switch (SP2T), and bypassable low noise amplifier (LNA) into a single device. This FEM also has an RF output coupler, a broad-range constant slope voltage logarithmic power detector for precise power control, and digital pre-distortion (DPD) for enhanced linear output power and throughput.
In the Tx path, it delivers a saturated output power of 30 dBm with a gain of 31 dB, while on the Rx side, it provides a gain of 15 dB with a noise figure of 1.6 dB. It requires a DC supply of 5 V and consumes 1.1 W of power. This module is available in a laminate package that measures 5.0 x 3.0 mm and is ideal for access points, wireless routers, residential gateways, customer premise equipment, and Internet of Things applications.
