The QPF4209 from Qorvo is a Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) Front End Module that operates from 2412 to 2484 MHz. It consists of a 2.4 GHz power amplifier (PA), single pole two-throw switch (SP2T), coupler structure, and a bypassable low noise amplifier (LNA). This FEM also has an RF output coupler, a broad-range constant slope voltage logarithmic power detector for precise power control, and digital pre-distortion (DPD) for enhanced linear output power and throughput.
In the Tx path, it delivers a saturated output power of 32 dBm with a gain of 35 dB, while on the Rx side, it provides a gain of 14 dB with a noise figure of 1.7 dB. It is available in a 16-Pad laminate package that measures 3 x 3 mm and is ideal for access points, wireless routers, residential gateways, customer premise equipment, and Internet of Things (IoT) applications.
