The QPF4211 from Qorvo is a 2.4 GHz Front End Module for Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) applications. It has an integrated 2.4 GHz power amplifier (PA), regulator, single pole two throw switch (SP2T), bypassable low noise amplifier (LNA), and DC power detector with a voltage output that provides feedback. This FEM also has die-level filtering for 2nd and 3rd harmonics as well as 5 GHz rejection for DBDC operation. In Tx mode, it provides an output power of up to +25.5 dBm with a gain of 33 dB while in Rx mode, it provides a gain of 15 dB and a 5 GHz rejection of 12 dB. This module requires a DC supply of 5 V and consumes less than 280 mA of current. It is available in a 16-pad laminate package that measures 2.5 x 2.5 mm and is ideal for access points, wireless routers, residential gateways, customer premise equipment, and Internet of Things applications.
