The RFFM4554 from Qorvo is a 5 GHz Wi-Fi front end module (FEM) designed for 802.11a/n/ac applications. The module has an integrated SPDT switch and a low noise amplifier with a gain of 13.5 dB, a bypass loss of 5 dB and a noise figure of 1.7 dB. The RFFM4554 has a unique structure where the switch to LNA path has pins so filtering can be added in the ideal path for current Wi-Fi circuit applications. It is available in a 2.3 mm x 2.3 mm x 0.45 mm 16-pin QFN package and is ideal for IEEE 802.11a/n/ac Wi-Fi RF systems.
