The SKY55242-11 from Skyworks is a dual 2.4 GHz Front-End Module (FEM) that supports simultaneous 2 x 2.4 GHz WLAN including Bluetooth. It has two separate 2.4 GHz chains - each chain has a dedicated coupler and BT port. This highly-integrated module incorporates a 2.4 GHz power amplifier, a 2.4 GHz low noise amplifier with bypass and an SP3T transmit/receive switch.
The FEM has a receive gain of 15 dB, a receive bypass loss of -5 dB, and requires a supply voltage of 3.85 V. It has three transmit modes with gains of 30, 26, and 17 dB. This device is available in a 4 x 3 x 0.7 mm 34-pin Multi-Chip Module (MCM) package and is ideal for 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi-enabled handsets, tablets, and mobile/portable systems.
