The SKY58095-11 from Skyworks is a Mid and High Band Front-End Module for 3G/4G/5G applications. It consists of an RFIC with separate 3G/4G/5G PA blocks operating in mid and high bands, a silicon controller containing the MIPI RFFE interface, RF band switches, Mid-Band and High-Band antenna switches, bi-directional couplers, duplexers, 5GHz Wi-Fi notch filter and filters.
The combined filtering, RF matching, and TRx switching internal to this FEM optimize its performance for popular Downlink (DL) CA band combinations, LTE Advanced and 5G.
This front-end module can be controlled via a single MIPI RFFE 2.1 control interface with a 1.8 V nominal supply. It has extremely low leakage current that maximizes device standby time. The IC die and passive components are mounted on a multi-layer laminate substrate. It is available in an LGA, SMT package that measures 8.6 x 6.5 x 0.75 mm with an antenna interface and is ideal for multi-band 3G/4G/5G mobile devices, handsets, data cards, M2M and LTE Advanced Carrier Aggregation (CA) applications.
