The SKY58212-11 from Skyworks is a 5G/4G/3G Front-End Module that supports 5G NR, LTE, WCDMA and CDMA bands. It consists of PA blocks, input and output matching, an MIPI standard digital control block, single-ended duplexers, antenna and band select switches, and a low noise amplifier (LNA). This front-end module has an enhanced architecture that allows it to cover multiple bands and meet the spectral linearity requirements of LTE QPSK and 16QAM modulations with up to 20 MHz bandwidth and up to 100 resource block allocations. It uses an ET modulator to control output power and maximize efficiency by adjusting the input power and VCC. This FEM has a temperature sensor and is SkyShield™ shielded. It is available in an SMT package that measures 6.7 x 5.3 x 0.9 mm and is ideal for 5G NR smartphones.
