The SKY58277-11 from Skyworks is a 4G/5G Front-End Module (FEM) that supports LTE and 5G-NR bands. It consists of PA blocks, input and output ports matched to 50 ohms, a MIPI standard digital control block, single-ended filter, antenna and Tx-Rx switches, low noise amplifier (LNA) and filter/switch paths that support both primary and MIMO receive. This front-end module meets the spectral linearity requirements of CP-OFDM and DFTS-OFDM modulations with up to 100 MHz bandwidth and up to 273 resource block allocations.
The SKY58277-11 has MIPI v2.1 compliant 52MHz RFFE bus and MIPI v3.0 compliant RX function support. It has Full Power average power tracking (APT) support without digital predistortion (DPD) and supports power saving features like low leakage current and controlling output power by varying the input power and adjusting VCC to maximize efficiency. The module is available in a shielded LGA packaged module that measures 5 x 3 x 0.7 mm with an antenna interface and is ideal for multi-band 4G and 5G mobile devices and smartphones, 5G New Radio, 4G LTE, handsets, data cards and Machine-to-Machine (M2M) applications.
