The SKY65383-11 from Skyworks is a Tx/Rx Front-End Module that operates from 2400 to 2483 MHz. It has an integrated low-loss, SPDT switch, a high-performance low-noise amplifier (LNA), Power amplifier (PA), harmonic filter, and control logic. The FEM delivers a Tx output power of +30 dBm with a small signal gain of 34 dB and power-added efficiency (PAE) of 36%. On the Rx side, it provides a gain of 12 dB and has a noise figure of 2.5 dB. It has a return loss of 10 dB and an Rx-Tx switching time of 800 ns. The module requires a DC supply of 3.3 V and consumes less than 820 mA of current. It has a deep sleep mode to minimize current consumption and can be controlled via a three-wire interface.
The SKY65383-11 is available in a 28-pin MCM package that measures 6 x 6 mm and is ideal for use in automated meter reading, advanced metering infrastructure, and ISM systems applications.
