The SKY85743-31 from Skyworks Solutions is a 5 GHz Front-End Module for WLAN applications. It has a 5 GHz single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) transmit/receive (T/R) switch, a high-gain low-noise amplifier (LNA) with bypass, and a 5 GHz power amplifier (PA). This FEM also has an integrated logarithmic power detector to provide closed-loop power control along with LNA and PA disable functions that ensure low leakage current in the off mode. It provides a transmit gain of 34 dB and delivers the output power requires for 802.11ax applications.
This FEM is available in a 24-pin LGA package that measures 3 x 5 mm and is ideal for indoor and outdoor 802.11ax networking systems and wireless audio/video applications.
