The SKY85797-11 from Skyworks Solutions is a 5 GHz Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) Front-End Module (FEM). It consists of a transmit/receive switch, a high-gain low noise amplifier (LNA) with bypass, a power amplifier (PA), a logarithmic power detector, and a coupler. This front-end module has fully-matched input and output ports within the module. It delivers an output power of +25 dBm with a gain of 33 dB (Tx) and 16 dB (Rx) in the 5 GHz band. This FEM is available in a 16-pin multi-chip module (MCM) package that measures 3.0 x 3.0 mm and is ideal for Wi-Fi-based home entertainment/video streaming systems, home gateways, customer, premise equipment (CPE), mesh/whole-home Wi-Fi systems, and indoor/outdoor access point applications.
