The SKYA21041 from Skyworks Solutions is an 802.11ac Switch/Low-Noise Amplifier Front-End Module that operates in the 5 GHz range. It has a single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) switch and a low-noise amplifier (LNA) with a bypass mode. The LNA provides 13 dB of gain with a noise figure of 2.3 dB. It has a transmit path loss of 0.8 dB. This module has been developed to switch between WLAN receive and WLAN transmit modes.
The SKYA21041 is Automotive AEC-Q100 grade 2 qualified and is available in a 6-pin Dual Flat No-Lead (DFN) package that measures 1.2 x 1.4 mm. It is suitable for automotive 802.11n/ac WLAN networks, automotive infotainment and telematics, and automotive connectivity module applications.
