The SKYA25001 from Skyworks Solutions is a Diversity Receive Module for use in cellular mobile devices. It operates in the mid-to-low-band (MLB)/mid-band (MB)/high-band (HB) and ultra-high-band (UHB) regions and supports cellular diversity receiver and cellular transmitter functions. This diversity module supports all key downlink 2 and 3 carrier aggregation band combinations as well as uplink signals transmitted through the diversity antenna path. It has integrated LNAs with five variable-gain modes to enable compatibility for next-generation LNA-less LTE transceivers. It can be controlled via an integrated MIPI RFFE interface.
The SKYA25001 delivers a Tx power of +26 dBm and is compatible with 3GPP GSM, WCDMA, LTE, and LTE-A standards, and includes filters for multiple service bands. It is available in a package that measures 5.00 x 4.00 x 0.75 mm and is ideal for antenna cable loss compensation circuits for LTE data antennas and 2G/3G/4G multimode telematics modules (LTE, UMTS, CDMA2000, EDGE, and GSM) applications.
