The AU-18 from Furuno is an active GNSS antenna that operates from 1575 to 1610 MHz (GPS L1 band and GLONASS G1 band). The antenna assembly consists of a patch antenna for receiving GNSS signals and a preamplifier for signal amplification. This right hand circular polarized antenna delivers a total gain of up to 27 dB while operating over a 3 V supply and consuming up to 10 mA of current. The antenna has an internal magnet so that it can be fixed on a metallic surface.
