The A.85.A.101111 from Taoglas is a Dual-Band Permanent-Mount GNSS Antenna that operates in the L1 and L5 bands. This right-hand circularly polarized (RHCP) antenna provides an average gain of -1.67 dB, a peak gain of 4.50 dB, and an efficiency of 68%. It has an omni-directional radiation pattern and consists of integrated LNAs to maintain excellent signal quality throughout the entire signal chain. This antenna features SAW filters that allow for very sharp signal attenuation outside of the intended frequency bands while avoiding a negative impact on in-band signal quality. It operates in the GPS (L5)/GPS (L1), Galileo (E1), GLONASS (G1), and BeiDou (B1) frequency bands.
The A.85.A.101111 offers very high out-of-band rejection and is designed to handle large bursts of power from nearby transmitters, thereby allowing the antenna to always remain operational. It provides excellent rejection across all non-GNSS frequencies to prevent over-driving or damaging the GPS receiver. The antenna provides more than 65 dB of rejection in the 1800/1900 MHz cellular bands while maintaining a low noise figure and a high signal gain, making it suitable for applications with longer cable runs where high cable loss is a concern.
This GNSS antenna is available in an IP67-rated, UV-resistant enclosure that measures 94.3 (Dia.) x 25.4 (H) mm with SMA (male) ST connectors and 1-meter RG-174 coaxial cable. It is ideal for precision agriculture, asset and container tracking, small-cell GNSS towers, and commercial transportation applications.
