L56114 Image

The L56114 from Mercury Systems is a GPS/GLONASS Filter and Amplifier Module that operates in the L1/L2 bands from 1217 to 1256 MHz and 1565 to 1612 MHz. It consists of a discrete amplifier and cavity filter to provide excellent out-of-band attenuation. This space-qualified module provides a center frequency gain of 43 dB, an out-of-band rejection of more than 60 dB, and a noise figure of less than 2.9 dB (at 50°C). It requires a DC supply of 5 V and consumes less than 0.15 A of current. The module has an operating temperature range from -30°C to +50°C and a minimum radiation hardness of 10 krad. It is available in a module that measures 0.8 x 2.5 x 3.0 inches with SMA-female connectors and is ideal for use in spacecraft and test equipment.
