The L5996 from Mercury Systems is a GPS Filter Amplifier with center frequencies of 1575.4 MHz (L1 channel) and 1227.6 MHz (L2 channel). It has a 3 dB bandwidth of ±35 MHz around each center frequency and provides a gain of more than 19 dB. This filter / amplifier provides an output power of up to 12 dBm with a noise figure of less than 2.5 dB and rejection of more than 40 dBc in the stopbands. This amplifier requires a DC supply from 5 V and consumes less than 0.35 A. It is available in an enclosure that measures 9.00 x 1.50 x 2.97 inches with SMA (male/female) connectors and complies with MIL-STD-883 standard for hermeticity (input connector surface only).
