The AsteRx-U3 from Septentrio is a Multi-constellation, Dual-Antenna GNSS Receiver. It can track signals from GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, NavIC, and QZSS GNSS constellations on both antennas with centimeter-level accuracy. The receiver uses LOCK+ technology that maintains tracking during heavy vibrations and IONO+ to ensure position accuracy even during periods of elevated ionospheric activity. This GNSS receiver offers the latest in advanced interference mitigation technology AIM+, which filters out ambient intentional and unintentional RF interference. It combines Septentrio’s latest triple-band precise positioning GNSS core with extended wireless communication features including Wi-Fi, UHF, and 4G LTE. The receiver requires a DC supply from 9 to 48 V and consumes 8 W of power.
The AsteRx-U3 has a cold start time of less than 45 s, a warm start time of under 20 s, and a re-acquisition time of 1 s. It provides an RTK horizontal accuracy of 0.6 cm, a vertical accuracy of 1 cm, and a velocity accuracy of 0.03 m/s. This GNSS receiver includes an intuitive web user interface for easy operation and monitoring to control the receiver from any mobile device or computer. The web interface also uses easy-to-read quality indicators ideal to monitor the receiver operation during operation. It is available in a rugged, IP68-rated housing that measures 157 x 245 x 45 mm.
