The XS1110 from Sierra Wireless is an Ultra-Low-Power Multi-GNSS Module that supports tracking of GPS+Glonass, GPS+BeiDou, or GPS+Galileo satellite combinations to deliver superior positioning accuracy within 1.5 m. It has a tracking sensitivity of -161 dBm and has 15+ SDK commands to change default GNSS behavior and enable extended features. It provides active interference cancellation with automatic detection and removal.
This low power device incorporates an LNA, SAW filter, TCXO, and embedded flash, for optimum positioning performance. The module also supports performance-enhancing features such as SBAS (GPS+Glonass), A-GPS (ephemeris file injection), and PPS Sync. It requires a 1.71 to 1.89 V supply with 15 mA current consumption during tracking and 350 uA in standby mode.
Tested for harsh environments and extreme temperatures (-40 to 80 °C), this RoHS-compliant module measures 6.7 x 7 x 2.1 mm and is available with UART and I2C interfaces.
