The SE868K5-RTK from Telit Cinterion is a Multi-constellation GNSS Receiver. It operates in the GPS/QZSS (L1, L5), Galileo (E1, E5), GLONASS (L1), and BeiDou (B1, B2) bands. This module includes an optimized positioning engine for high-quality navigation and achieves a horizontal positional accuracy of better than 1 m (without RTK) and 1 cm (with RTK). It integrates real-time kinematics (RTK) capabilities that deliver exceptional performance for applications that require high precision. This module includes a powerful baseband processor, embedded memory and PSRAM, an integrated PGA for optimal performance, a SAW filter for improved performance, and a switching regulator. It uses two frequencies (L1/E1 and L5/E5) to enhance location accuracy and reduce multipath effects in urban areas. The module requires a DC supply from 1.72 to 1.89 V and consumes 70 mW (acquisition) and 36 µW (RTC mode) of power.
The SE868K5-RTK reports navigation data over a serial interface (UART, I2C, and SPI) according to the NMEA protocol standard and also supports the output of raw measurements for high-precision applications (RTCM 3.x). This RED/UKCA-approved GNSS module allows the injection of ephemeris files and local prediction of short-term ephemerides for faster time-to-first-fix. It further utilizes SBAS or QZSS L1S signal frequencies to enhance position accuracy. This module has EGNOS, WAAS, GAGAN, and MSAS capabilities embedded with positional error correction for augmented accuracy and integrity.
The SE868K5-RTK has a tracking/navigation sensitivity of -165 dBm and an acquisition sensitivity of -146 dBm. This RoHS-compliant module is available in a 32-pad QFN package that measures 11 x 11 x 2.8 mm and is ideal for lawnmowers, robots, fleet management, drones, and e-mobility applications.
