The SE868Y-D from Telit is a Multi-frequency and Multi-constellation GNSS Receiver that supports GPS (L1/L5), QZSS (E1), Galileo (E5), GLONASS (L1), BeiDou (B1/B2), and IRNSS (L5) bands. The receiver has a hot start of 1 s, a warm start of 24 s, and a cold start of less than 35 s when using L1+L5 bands. It has an acquisition sensitivity of -147 dBm, navigation sensitivity of -161 dBm, and tracking sensitivity of -164 dBm at L1+L5 bands. The receiver requires a DC supply of 1.71-1.89 V and supports UART, I2C, and SPI interfaces. It has a multi-frequency and multi-constellation capability that enables high-quality navigation in challenging outdoor scenarios such as dense urban areas.
The receiver uses two frequencies (L1/E1 and L5/E5) to improve the location accuracy and reduces multi-path effects in urban areas. It can track up to five constellations simultaneously and has a baseband processor integrated with an LNA. The receiver supports ephemeris file injection (AGNSS), and Satellite-Based Augmentation System (SBAS) to increase position accuracy and improve time to-first-fix (TTFF). It consists of an onboard software engine that can predict local short-term ephemeris starting from ephemeris data broadcast by GNSS satellites and are stored in the internal flash memory.
The receiver is available in a 32-pad QFN package that measures 11 x 11 x 2.62 mm and is ideal for fleet management systems, E-mobility, road tolling systems, cellular base stations, automotive telematics systems, and wearables sports training monitors applications.
