The SL876Q5-A from Telit is an ultra-slim GNSS module with a smart antenna that supports GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, QZSS, Galileo, A-GNSS. It has an acquisition and tracking sensitivity of -148/-167 dBm and can handle a power of up to 104 mW. The module has an integrated embedded linear antenna, low noise amplifier (LNA), surface acoustic wave (SAW) filter, and efficient power management technology. It also supports the usage of an external antenna through an embedded RF switch. This feature is particularly useful in applications such as personal trackers and alarms in which the the main antenna is the external one and the internal antenna is used as backup when the external is broken or compromised.
The module is available in an ultra-slim leadless chip carrier (LCC) package that measures 11 x 11.9 x 2.3 mm and is ideal for wearables, personal trackers, drones and other battery-dependent applications. The SL876Q5-A is compliant with regulatory and industry standard specifications.
