The Erinome-II from Würth Elektronik is a GNSS Module that supports four major GNSS constellations (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou) for fast and accurate positioning. The connection of an external antenna can be made through an RF pad for module operation. This module is based on Qualcomm SirfStar V 5e chipset and features standard NMEA + chipset-specific communication protocols. It supports low power operation for battery-operated applications and operates over a temperature range from -40 °C to +85 °C. The device has an Rx tracking sensitivity and Rx acquisition sensitivity of -167 dBm and -147 dBm, respectively. It has a positional accuracy of up to 2.5 m and a start time (cold) of less than 28 sec.

This RED, RoHS, and REACH certified module measures 7 x 7 x 1.6 mm and is available with UART and I2C interfaces. This module has been developed for responsive navigation and difficult conditions. It is ideal for applications like tracking and navigation devices, container localization, fleet management, location support for rescue, cartography, autonomous agricultural machines, geotagging for digital cameras, animal tracking, and time reference for worldwide events/machine synchronization.
