The GSS7765 from Spirent Communications is an Interference Simulation System with an output frequency from 0.5 to 2 GHz. It can produce various interference signals which include CW, swept CW, stepped CW, pulsed CW, AM, and FM along with sine, square, ramp, and triangle waveforms (for AM and FM interference). This simulation system can also produce white Gaussian noise with a bandwidth of up to 48 MHz. It supports up to 4 interference signal generators and allows each interference source to operate independently using either fixed or modeled signal power levels. It is ideal for testing the interference immunity of GNSS devices in a simulated environment.

The GSS7765 has a flexible architecture and supports a wide range of options from single-source/single-antenna to complex interference for multiple antennas. It performs cyclic sine sweeps at a rate of 0.1 Hz to 2 MHz (for swept CW interference) and has harmonics of -30 dBc (for CW interference). It can be controlled via the front panel controls or from a separate controller using their native command set. This interference simulation system fully integrates commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) signal generators as interference sources with Spirent SimGEN-based satellite navigation simulators, such as the GSS9000, GSS7000, and GSS6700.

This simulation system is available in an enclosure that measures 508 x 458 x 88 mm (COTS generators) and 200 x 426 x 89 mm (Interference Combination Unit). It requires an AC supply of 100-120 V or 220-240 V and consumes less than 300 W of power.
