The PA4095 from Kratos is an IFF Transmitter Module with an output frequency of 1090 MHz. Based on an LDMOS design, this module delivers a peak output power of 600 watts with a power difference of ±1 dB between first and last pulse. This IFF Transmitter incorporates all of the RF and control elements: RF source at 1090 MHz, driver and modulator, power amplifier, high power PIN switch, and control and monitoring solutions. The device has a switching time of less than 50 msec (between the output ports) and a duty cycle of 2%. This transmitter is available in a module that measures 218 x 150 x 25 mm with connectors and is ideal for military applications.
