Wideband Ka LNB Image

The Wideband Ka LNB from Orbital Research converts input frequencies from 18.2 to 20.2 GHz to output frequencies from 950 to 2000 MHz. It has been designed for mission-critical commercial systems that require predictable and reliable performance. This low noise block (LNB) provides an output P1dB of +15 dB, a conversion gain of more than 60 dB, and a noise figure of less than 1.3 dB. It has an LO frequency from 17.25 to 19.25 GHz and a phase noise of -92 dBc/Hz (@ 100 kHz offset).

The Wideband Ka LNB requires a DC supply from 10 to 28 V. It is available in an IP67-rated module that measures 44 x 44 x 154 mm and has WR-42 waveguide interface at the input and N-type/SMA connectors at the output side. This RoHS-compliant LNB is ideal for oil and gas remote operations, tier 1 and 2 users with large, complex, and global data networks, and commercial/shipping applications.
