The LigoPTP 5-N/5-23 RapidFire Solutions from LigoWave are Outdoor Wireless Point-to-Point Bridges that operate from 4.9 to 6.1 GHz. They use a unique and powerful RF design that supports up to 256-QAM modulation and provides a throughput of 700 Mbps. These bridges use LigoWave’s proprietary W-Jet V protocol that has been specifically engineered for high performing PTP scenarios to minimize interferences even across long distances and stabilizes latency within 2-4 ms. They include a 1.2GHz CPU dedicated for data processing and high (200,000) packet per second delivery to deliver powerful performance.
The LigoPTP 5-N/5-23 RapidFire consist of an internal dual-linearly polarized antenna that provides 23 dBi of gain and has a VSWR of 1.5:1. They have a 2x2 MIMO radio mode and implement a TDD duplexing scheme. These bridges can be controlled via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Gigabit Ethernet interfaces and have an internal 2.4 GHz radio that wirelessly connects with Wi-Fi equipped devices to gain access into the RapidFire GUI, thereby alleviating the problem of troubleshooting in difficult-to-reach locations. They use an OS that ensures easy and rapid deployment of point-to-point links with stable and fast performance.
They require a DC supply of 44-57 V and support power-over-ethernet (PoE). The LigoPTP bridges are available in enclosures that measure 399 × 174 × 47 mm (LigoPTP 5-N RapidFire) and 379 × 387 × 51 mm (LigoPTP 5-23 RapidFire). They are ideal for high-security video surveillance scenarios and outdoor wireless network applications. These wireless bridges incorporate integrated surge and ESD protection according to IEC standards and passes Class 4 requirements.
