The A6 from Mimosa is a Point-to-Multipoint Backhaul Radio that operates from 5150 to 6425 MHz for Wi-Fi 6E applications. It supports 20, 40, 80, and 160 MHz channels, 8x8 multi-user MIMO, and delivers a data rate of up to 7 Gbps (UL/DL). This access point utilizes BPSK-1024QAM, OFDMA, and other PHY layer technologies to ensure sufficient AP capacity to handle large populations in dense urban/rural environments. It includes a dual-linearly polarized XPIC antenna that provides a gain of 16 dBi and has a front-to-back ratio of more than 30 dB. It has an azimuth beamwidth of 90° and an elevation beamwidth of 10°. This radio features advanced noise fighting techniques to overcome noisy conditions and deliver reliable services in unlicensed spectrum.
The A6 supports Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), requires a DC supply from 48 to 56 V and consumes 40 W of power. It integrates MMP support, Netconf, SNMP v2c/v3, Syslog, HTTPS, HTML 5-based web GUI, IPv4, and IPv6, while actively monitoring the spectrum and logging ongoing RF interference across all channels. It also supports 4 user-configurable QoS levels for SRS (GPS sync) (CBWFQ), CoS classifier with user-configurable precedence along with other security schemes such as WPA3, AES, RADIUS, 802.1x authorization. It is equipped with an internal switch and multiple integrated 10 Gbps SFP+ for easy interconnectivity without requiring an external switch.
This RoHS-compliant backhaul solution is available in a UV-stabilized, IP67-rated enclosure that measures 490 x 295 x 75 mm with integrated metal mounting back and is ideal for wireless backhaul applications.
