The B11 from Mimosa is a microwave backhaul solution that operates from 10 to 11.7 GHz. It has a data rate of up to 1.5 Gbps and latency of under 1 ms. It can provide 500 Mbps of bandwidth at 60+ miles and 100 Mbps of bandwidth at 120+ miles. Aiming the antenna of a backhaul solution is a challange for many installers. The B11 has Wi-Fi integrated in to it which enables installers to both view radio details and target signal levels instantaneously. During peak evening hours, downloads and video streaming now represent nearly 90% of traffic, while daytime symmetric services and prioritized upstream traffic are as critical as ever to businesses. Legacy FDD radios are limited to symmetric traffic usage, leaving vast amounts of spectrum constantly underutilized. The B11, however, can dynamically adapt to bandwidth demand using Auto-TDMA technology, maximizing spectrum utilization throughout the day. It measures 260 x 158 x 70 mm, weighs 2 kg and can survive a wind of 200 km/hr. The backhaul comes with an Ethernet and Standard flexible conduit cage IP67 sealing gland, designed specifically for sealing pre-terminated cables. This FCC licensed radio is available in several antenna sizes for the short and long links.
