The B6x from Mimosa Networks is an Unlicensed PTP Backhaul radio that operates from 5.15 to 6.425 GHz. It is ideal for short to medium-range relay and tower links and custom-engineered collocation. This modular backhaul achieves extremely low latency with a data rate of up to 3.4 Gbps and high reliability with new noise-mitigation features. It provides a gain of 8 dBi which can be increased to 30 dBi using Mimosa’s modular X-series twist-on antennas, offering the ease and simplicity of integrated radios. The backhaul has an aggregate channel capacity of 320 MHz and supports GPS Sync mode to provide added performance.
The B6x is available in an IP67-rated enclosure and is suitable for broadband service providers, public safety networks, enterprise and campus connectivity, multipoint distribution for security, smart cities and Wi-Fi applications. It can be used without an antenna for short-distance links.
