The MultiHaul™ cTU is a Point to Multi-Point Compact Radio System that operates in the widely available and license-exempt 60 GHz V Band (57 to 64 GHz). It is inherently interference-free and secure under all circumstances due to a unique combination of narrow pencil beams operating over the uncongested 60 GHz frequency spectrum, coupled with embedded AES encryption. This mmWave radio provides a throughput of up to 1000 Mbps and has a system gain of 124 dB (including antenna gain).
This cTU device is available in a pocket-size package that measures only 165 x 80 x 25 mm and weighs less than 250 grams. The integrated Anymount allows for pole or wall attachment, and the installation is completed with a single CAT5e cable into the premise where the cTU gets standard POE power from an Ethernet device. An optional POE injector is included in the package to guarantee power in non-standard installations. The solution is also supported by Siklu'sSmartHaul software management tools for automated network design and planning.
