The 1415-4000-X from Technical Services Laboratory is a High-Power Programmable Signal Source that operates from 960 to 1215 MHz. It delivers an output power from 40 dBm to 67 dBm (4 kW) with an accuracy of ± 0.5dB and a resolution of 0.1 dB. This signal source allows preprogrammed waveforms to be generated, or lets the user provide pulse signals to modulate the RF output (in the Case of IFF). It is equipped with a large 7” touch-screen display and user-friendly equipment that responds to commands entered via the front panel keyboard. The signal source is available in an enclosure that measures 19.00 x 22.00 x 12.25 inches with N-type (Female) and SMA-female connectors. It requires an AC supply from 110 to 120 V and includes duty cycle, pulse width, VSWR, and over temperature protections.
This Microwave signal source is ideal for testing TACAN/DME and IFF (Identification Friend or Foe) scenarios.
