The APRA-X5000A from Advantech Wireless is a X-Band Solid State Pulse Amplifier that operates from 8.9 to 9.5 GHz. It provides an output of more than 1000 W and has fast pulse rise/fall times (<50ns) with a duty cycle of up to 15%. The in-built duty cycle monitor and pulse width monitor ensures trouble free operation. It has minimal pulse droop (<0.5 dB @ 100 µs), high phase and amplitude stability and gain compensation over temperature. The amplifier is available in a 3 RU / 19” rackmount chassis with SMA female connectors and is ideal for radar, critical infrastructure, government and military applications.
