SSPA 2.0-6.0-100 Image

The SSPA 2.0-6-0-100 from Aethercomm is a Solid-State Power Amplifier that operates from 2 to 6 GHz. It delivers an output power of 100 W with a gain of more than 43 dB and has a power added efficiency (PAE) of up to 36.9%. This SSPA is based on GaN technology and includes protection against reverse polarity, output short and open circuits, along with over-temperature and over-voltage faults. It can be blanked on and off in less than 10 uSec. The SSPA is designed for use in high shock and vibration environments and is also tested to withstand MIL-STD 810 high shock and vibration requirements. It requires a DC supply of 28 V and draws less than 16.9 A of input current.

The SSPA 2.0-6-0-100 available in a rugged and shock-absorbing enclosure that measures 3.4 x 6.9 x 1.5 inches with SMA-female input and TNC-female output connectors. It is ideal for different types of airborne platforms for commercial, military and satellite communications.
