The T2618 Series from AMETEK CTS is a TWT Amplifier Series consisting of five amplifiers that operate from 18 to 26.5 GHz. They provide an output power of 100/200/25/40/50 W with a gain of more than 53 dB. The amplifier series include RF and hardware protection against high VSWR, over-current and high voltage as well as redundant thermal and airflow sensors to prevent the TWT from overheating. The unconditionally stable TWTA series supports AM, FM, and Pulsed modulation.
These amplifiers have a state-of-the-art touch screen interface that is sophisticated, comprehensive, and simple to use. The touch screen interface shows forward/reverse power indication, system status, and self-diagnostic information. All the TWTA operating parameters are simultaneously available via the touch screen interface as well as over the remote bus. For remote operation GPIB, RS232, USB & Ethernet remote interfaces are included as standard.
