The amplifier operates from 30 to 88 MHz and delivers 500 W of output power with a gain of 68 dB, and has a noise figure of 12 dB. The amplifier can handle up to 12 dBm of input power and consumes 1.8 kW of power while operating. The AR-5010 has harmonics of -45 dBc and spurious of 73 dBc. It is available in a module that measures 19.0 x 20.8 x 3.5 inches.
