The 75S6G18C from AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation is a Solid-State Power Amplifier that operates from 6 to 18 GHz. It delivers a saturated output power of more than 75 W (6 – 12 GHz) with a small signal gain of 54 dB. This Class-A amplifier supports AM/FM/Pulse modulations and is suitable for use as a driver in testing wireless and communication components and subsystems. It is 100% mismatch tolerant and includes built-in fault monitoring and protection from input overdrive beyond 0 dBm as well as from various failure conditions including over-temperature and power supply faults. The amplifier has low spurious levels and harmonic distortion of -25 dBc.
The 75S6G18C has a front panel display which indicates the operational status and fault conditions. All amplifier control functions and status indications are available remotely using GPIB/IEEE-488, RS-232, fiber-optic serial, USB, or Ethernet. It is available in a benchtop enclosure that measures 48.3 x 18.8 x 63.8 cm with N-type (female) connectors and requires an AC supply. This amplifier is ideal for use in EMC (military, aviation, automotive, commercial), radiated and conducted EMC testing, antenna and component testing, CDMA, W-CDMA, TDMA, GSM, UWB, and WiMAX applications.
